Futurebuilders England and Eastside, as founder members, are delighted that the Secretary of State has awarded the DWP Future Jobs Fund contract to 3SC, the trading name for the newly formed Third Sector Consortia Management LLP.
Ian Charlesworth, Commercial Director of Futurebuilders England, said; “This is a fantastic start to the newly formed management companyorganisation and highlights that third sector organisations can be at the forefront of delivering large public sector contracts in key areas.”
3SC’s mission is to create a supply chain of high quality third sector delivery organisations across the UK to bid for major public sector contracts. This national consortium already has over 230 third sector members, including leading providers of education and training, welfare to work and health and social care.
Richard Litchfield, Managing Director of Eastside, said: “We are delighted that organisations and social enterprises will be supported by the Future Jobs Fund to create up to 5000 new jobs across the UK. This is an opportunity for the sector to demonstrate its ability to deliver on a large scale through collaboration.”
