Industry leaders to help ethical businesses grow

UnLtd Advantage - Growth & Replication Development Programme

UnLtd, Social Enterprise Yorkshire & Humber, and Yorkshire Forward have joined forces to hold an intensive two-day training programme in Leeds for social ventures and ethical businesses looking to grow or replicate their organisation.

The UnLtd Advantage - Growth & Replication Development Programme, to be held at the end of February, is aimed at individuals leading or managing organisations or businesses with social or ethical aims.

Workshop sessions and panel discussions will be led by industry leaders, social entrepreneurs from the Yorkshire & Humber region, and UnLtd trainers, and will cover a range of issues such as models for growth and replication, tools for measuring social impact, and leadership and change management.

Social Enterprise Yorkshire & Humber will also be arranging visits to locally-based social enterprises where delegates can see in practice how organisations have grown, and speak to the entrepreneurs themselves. An evening networking session attended by other entrepreneurs, funders, and support organisations will include a panel debate chaired by Cliff Prior, CEO of UnLtd.

The course takes place at social enterprise Tiger 11 in Hunslet, Leeds, on 24th & 25th February 2010.
