The BBC World Service has aired its third and final “Global Business” program featuring a session topic from the 2010 Skoll World Forum. In this program, available here, Peter Day speaks with four World Forum delegates working in development agencies that have engaged, or attempted to engage, directly with social entrepreneurs working in emerging markets. He asks to what degree have the agencies represented here facilitated the work of innovative social change agents working directly with the poor? And what can be done to enhance the impact of these potentially powerful partnerships?
Participating in the discussion are: Rachel Kyte, VP, Business Advisory Services, International Finance Corporation; Elizabeth Littlefield, CEO, CGAP; Jorg Hartmann, GTZ; and Elizabeth Frawley Bagley, Special Representative for Global Partnerships for the United States Secretary of State.
