Ashley joined Social Enterprise in 2009 to help build the RBS SE100 Index and report on the stories behind the statistics. His position is partially funded by the Future Jobs Fund, a government fund to help young people into employment. Ashley is using his time at the magazine to gain journalism experience.
After studying philosophy at Southampton University, Ashley co-founded Granule, a low-brow arts magazine.
