Good Deals is back and this year we’re gearing up for our biggest conference yet!
Good Deals 2010, delivered by Social Enterprise, is the third annual UK social investment conference held in association with both UK National Ethical Investment Week and Global Entrepreneurship Week.
This year the conference will be held in London over two days – Monday 15 and Tuesday 16 November – and the programme has been expanded to bring in speakers from the worlds of mainstream investment and corporate business, as well as looking at leading examples of innovation in social investment from around Europe.
Confirmed speakers for 2010 include Colin Grassie, UK CEO at Deutsche Bank; Mike Barry, head of sustainable business at Marks and Spencer; Liam Black, co-founder of Wavelength; Doug Richard, founder of School for Startups and former Dragons' Den investor; Antony Ross, executive director at Bridges Ventures; Caroline Mason, COO of Investing for Good and Charity Bank; Catherine Howarth, CEO of FairPensions; Peter Day, presenter of BBC In Business and many more.
Delivered in partnership with NESTA, the Royal Bank of Scotland, CCLA, Triodos Bank, UKSIF and Investing For Good, Good Deals will bring the biggest names in social investment together.
Once again Good Deals will offer budding social entrepreneurs the opportunity to take part in a series of live pitches during the course of the conference.
In addition, we're introducing the Little Black Deal Book, a directory aimed at potential investors that will showcase social businesses needing an injection of capital to raise funds to achieve social as well as financial returns.
Good Deals 2010 takes place at IET London: Savoy Place, London. Details of prices and a link to the bookings system will be released shortly. In the meantime you can find more information by visiting www.good-dealsuk.com
